This is an article about wrestling post January 4th, 2010. The night that TNA achieved their highest rating ever AND did so directly against WWE whose ratings did not change from the week prior, and on a night Vince did the unthinkable by bringing back the “Excellence of Execution.” Granted, no wrestler has (or possibly every will) have the “name” power of Hulk Hogan, at the same time, this is huge. Let’s see how this week in wrestling follows up on what proved to be an epic night for “sports entertainment.”…. god I hate that term…

As always, I try to watch all the TNA and WWE wrestling shows, but will record it and FFW through anything that seems like crap really quickly. I might skip stuff, or set it on various speeds of FFW of a 5 part ratio. Sometimes I will note that I did this, but since I write literally as I watch… yet, often it is so bad, my time spent typing this fact, is not worth my time. I had to most of the D-list shows this week. Nonetheless, let’s see how the TNA and Smackdown developed towards the big January 4th WWE/TNA showdown…

Ahh… the holiday season is in full swing and the build to January 4th, 2010 is a foot… well except in TNA as they took the week off on XXX-mas Eve. This so-called “time off” concept does not exist in McMahon Land, so let’s see what the “E” served up for us this week… It’s Suffering time!

Alright, as promised… here is Smackdown, ECW, Tribute to the Troops, potentially the weekend shows. Final Resolution was attempted, but to no avail as streams were poor if found at all. And there is NO WAY, I would pay for the TNA PPV.

This week was planned to be an abnormally HUGE injection of wrestling folks! I covered the T.L.C. PPV (which was the best I have watched since WrestleMania). We get a 3 hour RAW, And TNA…. then I realized it was super long, so I am dividing it into two parts. No Dave Meltzers needed at Project Wonderboy!!
Check next week for Smackdown, ECW, Tribute to the Troops, potentially the weekend shows AND possibly the TNA Final Resolution PPV (provided I can find a stream online). Geez…

Here we go again, another week of WWE and TNA reviews (not recaps) as if you are suffering alongside of me. We’ll watch some, fast-forward through a bunch more. In lieu of upcoming changes slated for January 2010, this will be one of the last normal weeks of wrestling prior to the holiday weeks of clip shows and reruns. ECW may not exist next month and TNA will be moving to Mondays… Who will Orton crepe this week?
