Over the past few days, I’ve been on a sort of indie kick. Thankfully, I think I’m over it, at least for the time being. I suppose I should mention I’m talking specifically about the XBLA indie titles, not PC stuffs. Now, you might think I shouldn’t expect much for titles that usually range anywhere from $1 to $3 and that maybe I’m being shrewd. Introduction
An interesting question was posed on the most recent Wonderpod: do we weigh a game by its original series or as a standalone title? As much as I want to say that every game must be measured as a standalone title, meaning it doesn’t matter if all previous entries in a series have been excellent or made one way or whatever, sometimes it really does matter that a game is part of a series.

Megaman X – Command Mission. This is not going to be easy to review. Through most of this review, I will likely be ranting about different cheezy and seemingly unnecessary features. At its core, MXCM sounds like something that’s been done before: a Megaman themed RPG. However, that also means it’s been done BETTER. But then again, this is Megaman X, not just Megaman and not Megaman.exe, which is about the most annoying name Megaman’s come across yet.
