Castlevania – Harmony of Despair is depressing, full of awkward design decisions, has terrible servers and a BAFFLINGLY bad match making system, and yet simultaneously is still pretty damn fun. How does that work? Well, there are a couple of ways I think this game could have ultimately failed, but it just BARELY pulled it off.

Oh IGN! You So Funnay! – Episode 1  - Posted on by gunsage

Semi-inspired by Champion Chalupa, I’ve decided to provide my own perspective on games IGN rated in a way one might consider, well…dumb. Of course, for everyone else, they might consider them retarded. Now it’s pretty easy to pick on IGN, but I just want you to know in advance that I’m purely doing this for entertainment purposes, not because I think it’s fair to break down a fellow reviewer’s opinion because I don’t agree with them.

Shitty Indie Games  - Posted on by gunsage

Over the past few days, I’ve been on a sort of indie kick. Thankfully, I think I’m over it, at least for the time being. I suppose I should mention I’m talking specifically about the XBLA indie titles, not PC stuffs. Now, you might think I shouldn’t expect much for titles that usually range anywhere from $1 to $3 and that maybe I’m being shrewd. You’re right, except that there are exceptions to the rule and as a result, most indie games end up looking mighty shitty, such as…

This article is going to be cut into two parts. One, a section of my nerd penis, but only a section, because I dare not clog up your Internet arteries like a value meal buffet. Two, why Microsoft is a dick in this and how they can stop being such a fucking dick…should they so choose…anytime soon…ever. That said, hit the more button and quit being a faggot.

Wonderpod Episode 12  - Posted on by Bruce McGee

So yeah this is a little late and I have a good reason for it. I doubt you care about that as your here to listen to us use juvenile humor to comment on gaming news. Trust me there is plenty of that and probably to much of the F word for one listener. I am sure there is something in this hour long show that shall amuse you. This week we ranted on and on about

Virtual Console Woes  - Posted on by gunsage

There is something that concerns me greatly on the Wii and it’s something I probably won’t buy anything from: Virtual Console. For those that don’t know, VC is basically a huge emulator that emulates classic titles from the NES, SNES, Genesis, Turbo Graphx, Turbo Duo, Neo Geo, and more. At a glance, this sounds like an amazing idea. But let’s delve deeper so you’ll understand why none of my cash will probably ever go to any of this.

Pat Man’s Top Picks on X-box Live Arcade.  - Posted on by PatMan

Originating on Microsoft’s first console and really as no more than a place to download old arcade classics, X-box Live Arcade has now truly evolved into a complete gaming experience all of its own, second to none in terms of quality, quantity and affordability. Nowhere else can a console gamer have such a large variety of new HD games, old arcade classics and past console favorites to download and enjoy. And at a fraction of the cost of a full retail title, X-box Live Arcade games can very often be absolutely great gaming experiences. On a recent episode of our very own video game Podcast “Wonderpod” we briefly discussed some of the best downloadable games of the year, and that gave me the idea to create my own list. Thus, with no further ado, I give you “Pat Man’s top X-box live arcade titles.”

Sweet comics by forum member Al Creed. Wrestling blog of the Oratory's John C. Where the genre began The famous Cane/Hat Man, made famous by Morphine Nation, and now at his new home. It's a site with that popular mix of reviews, pop culturism and links to porn. Can't argue. Jason Rivera, motherfuckers!
Video game reviews, with a sense of humor. No talent needed, they proudly proclaim. Check 'em out anyway. These fuckers have been around forever. Hilariously insane scrawlings. Comics, video games, and other media. Art blog by a Nation supporter.
