Introduction
Killer 7 was an awesome game and like most people, it prompted me to be a Suda 51 fan right away. So naturally, when games like Contact and No More Heroes came out, I desperately wanted them. Contact was pretty good and so was No More Heroes, but people were VERY divided on what they thought about NMH. At first this seemed to be similar to the Killer 7 situation, but it went a little deeper.

An interesting question was posed on the most recent Wonderpod: do we weigh a game by its original series or as a standalone title? As much as I want to say that every game must be measured as a standalone title, meaning it doesn’t matter if all previous entries in a series have been excellent or made one way or whatever, sometimes it really does matter that a game is part of a series.

First let me start by saying Mass Effect 2 is a good game. Great game? Well, it has potential, but there are things that really prevent it from being the best sci-fi, shooter, and/or RPG ever. Now some would argue that it doesn’t have to be the best ever, just better than the first one, which already was an excellent title. Sure, I can buy into that, but it’s also important to analyze the little things Bioware’s been doing that I sometimes agree with, but usually wonder about.

Megaman X – Command Mission. This is not going to be easy to review. Through most of this review, I will likely be ranting about different cheezy and seemingly unnecessary features. At its core, MXCM sounds like something that’s been done before: a Megaman themed RPG. However, that also means it’s been done BETTER. But then again, this is Megaman X, not just Megaman and not Megaman.exe, which is about the most annoying name Megaman’s come across yet.

Grand Theft Auto 3. Sure, there are a lot of reviews where I shift the player’s attention to a well known and understood franchise like that on a regular basis straight out of the gate, but I’d like to bring yet another one to the table: The Godfather. Okay, now Assassin’s Creed. And now I think I’ve gone too far, so how about World War 2? Not making any sense? I will. Probably.
