A fairly steady week in the Power Poll, with only one wrestler from last week (Kurt Angle) falling out of the Top 10. But there’s a new No. 1, and reports suggest that he may indeed be awesome.

1. The Miz (3)
He might have failed again to cash in his Money in the Bank title shot, but The Miz did capture the top spot in the poll. We all know what’s truly important here.

2. Randy Orton (4)
Mr. Cool laid out the No. 1 contenders to the tag titles, the WWE champion and the No. 1 in the Power Poll all at once. Are we sure he’s not Triple H just wearing a really realistic mask?

3. Sheamus (2)
It might be a shameful thing when the WWE champion can’t crack the top two, but Sheamus hasn’t exactly looked too strong lately.

4. Kane (1)
The post-title-win sheen has come off the World champion a bit.

5. Rey Mysterio (8)
A series of good performances and a 2-of-3-falls win over Jack Swagger have put Mysterio back in the good graces of poll voters.

6. Rob Van Dam (5)
The TNA champion makes the company’s only appearance in this week’s voting. Maybe the ECW reunion will shift TNA back into relevancy.

7. John Cena (6)
Cena has had his shoulders on the mat more often than usual lately, but he’s done strong promo work as the main babyface fighting the Nexus (only undermined by his tendency to inject lame humor at inappropriate times like an annoying uncle).

8. Chris Jericho (10)
Jericho has been antagonizing a lot of people recently, particularly Cena, Edge and Nexus, but he’s on good terms with the Power Poll.

9. Big Show (NR)
He’s run through the Straight Edge Society pretty solidly, unmasking C.M. Punk and Joey Mercury in successive weeks.

10. Wade Barrett (7)
The Nexus leader continues to carry the group with his strong presence, although some of his stablemates are starting to elevate their games to match him.
