I think when I started watching this movie I already knew I was going to love it. I just didn’t know I was going to like it as much as I did. I thought it was an amazing take on the story, and actually did things that were original. Of course I have to start of by saying that Tim Curry and Kathy Bates were just amazing in their roles. Kathy Bates makes a wonderful Queen of Hearts, I just bow down to her.
I also loved Caterina Scorsone and Andrew-Lee Potts as Alice and Hatter. They both captured me from jump. The Hatter was played in an amazing way, not his usually exaggerated way, but in a more lovable way. You couldn’t help but root for them, and stay involved in their story as you watched them run around.
I really liked Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, but I actually found this one more enjoyable. (Even the HORRIBLY CGI’s Jabberwock) I just really liked the way it was done, and I honestly recommend it. Especially if you are a fan of anything British, wacky, or you just like good movies. Hahaha.
