I would like to retort towards the question I poised. I am glad you guys did not interpret my musical background as a bias. I know musicians who do cater to the "why don't you learn to play REAL guitar angle." That's not my shtick. I'm all over the idea of the music game as a premise. For me, it's really just the time spent gaming versus playing my guitar. I can't justify it to myself, since I never find enough time in the week to do everything I'd like to. I'm sure you all can relate. And considering the added expense for the peripherals to do so, well I'd rather spend my hard earned money on other titles or musical gear. I've jumped on the microphone in Rock Band with my brother on occasion and tend to pull off a damn good rendition of "Epic" by Faith No More and the SouthPark "Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld." Otherwise, hey... to each their own. I've never found a ham sandwich in any of my instruments, and believe you me, if I did... well someone is getting their ass handed to them. Regardless, the elitist musicians who miss the fact that gamers who enjoy such titles is actually pretty cool by me. Hey, I play other games to emulate my heroes elsewhere. For example, I love me some EA NHL hockey. I don't play professionally obviously, but video games let me emulate it. I don't fight zombies in day to day life (one day... crosses fingers), but Left 4 Dead let's me pretend that I do... that's the way I look at it. What I am more interested in with Black is to what level he is pushed... we will have to wait and see since he hasn't even hit developmental yet... The way I look at FPS online is that if you are purchasing it for the online experience, you have to get it early before the haxors and douchbags ruin it. I give Halo 4 months before it's ruined by assholes. That's worth $70 if you play everyday. After that, I'll milk the single player mode for all it's worth. After that, I am definitely down for some Dead Rising 2... yes Bruce, you've got me pegged here. I might get it early, as I will be watching the sales that surely will be going on. Last year I scored a few brand new titles for almost 50% off. I am totally with ALL of you 3 in regards to having no chance at affording all of the games coming out. Also, looking at the type of humour that got selected for comedies, I am a bit shocked that neither of the Bill and Ted films were chosen. That is kind of odd... As of today, it is surely a MYOT candidate, thus my votes were skewed in that order. When I started voting in this project, the "team" aspect was not regarded, thus I stopped voting for "Nexus" early. But this week, we see a lumping. The voting system is evolving. Seeing more matches this Monday was sweet! While they can't run that particular storyline weekly, they certainly could pull off similar programming. I was also wondering for the longest time if they were even going to draw attention to Jon Lovitz since I picked him out right at the start... took about 90 minutes. Enjoyed the listen as I terrorized the streets of Calgary in my deathmobile! Ghosts and Goblins was a good choice, I remember doing okay at it in the arcade, but really don't know about the difficulty difference. It wouldn't shock me if the cabinet was tougher. I've certainly played worse "coin-eaters" (or maybe I was just better than I realized at this title than others I played in the arcades). Good topics this week.
